John W. Kline December 1, 1936 - May 13, 2019 John W. Kline, 82, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Monday, May 13, 2019. Born in Bellefonte, on December 1, 1936, he was the son of the late Fred W. and Anna B. (Lyons) Kline. John attended school in the State College School District. He worked as a roofer for 25 years. He was a part-time farmer, having many pigs and cows. He is survived by two brothers, Paul and Leroy, and two sisters, Annie Confer and Rose Tressler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom, Fred and Bob, and five sisters, Grace Phillips, Adaline Tressler, Minnie Rupert, Evelyn Bowers, and Elgie Wagner. John loved to talk to people. He always made a point to stop and talk to his friends. He enjoyed watching television, specifically Judge Judy, Perry Mason, The Three Stooges, and any cowboy show. He loved the Hotdog House in Red Roost and the times that he traveled to Colorado and Wyoming on hunting trips with his brothers. There will be a public viewing held on Friday, May 17, 2019, from 10am-11am, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. at 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11am with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Meyer Cemetery in Bellefonte.
