Elizabeth Joyce Neal, 69, of Mitchell, died Monday, May 13, 2019, at Avera Brady Health and Rehab in Mitchell.
Funeral services will be 5:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mitchell. Burial will be at the Old Zion Cemetery in Sparta, TN.
Elizabeth Joyce Neal was born on September 6, 1949 in Sparta, TN to Charles and Josephine (Hale) Akins. She graduated from White County High School. Joyce married Curtis Neal on November 23, 1968 in Sparta. The couple moved to West Memphis, AR and lived in many places. After Curtis passed away, Joyce moved to South Dakota to be close to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Joy (Steve) Renberg, Letcher, and Lora Neal, Mitchell; four grandchildren, Haley, Steven, Libby, and Curtis Renberg; three sisters, Betty (Clyde) Randolph, Linda Akins, and Lorretta (Bobby) Wilhite; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers, Charles, Ed, and Rob.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
