John L Pollard, age 92 entered into eternal peace on May 31,2018 at Madrona Memory Care in Federal Way, WA.
John was born February 22, 1926 in North Branch, Ontario, Canada to Thomas and Elsie Pollard. He worked for the Railroad in Seattle for 40 years and enjoyed bowling, golfing, Longacres horse racing, and playing cards!
John is survived by his wife Elaine (Kitzman) Pollard of 65 years, 2 brothers Leonard Pollard of Sumner, WA and Larry Pollard of Renton, WA. He is predeceased by 3 sisters, Florence Desserre and Genevieve Jewett of Ontario, Canada and Lucille Ricketts of Sumner, WA as well as 3 brothers, Norman Pollard of Modesto, CA, Russell Pollard of Underwood, WA and Gordon Pollard of Arden Hills, MN.
Uncle Johnny was a favorite to all his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, bringing our favorite candy and teaching us to play cards at our family gatherings.
A Memorial Service will be held for friends and family June 24, 2018 at 1 P.M.
