Sharon R. Ryan, 74, of Marshall, Illinois passed away 4:27 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute, Indiana. She was born Dec. 29, 1944 at Marshall, the daughter of Frank and Margaret L. White Vanoven.
On June 30, 1944 at Martinsville, Illinois she married Lawrence T. Ryan Sr. who preceded her in death on June 11, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lawrence T. Ryan Jr.; and siblings, Robert Vanoven, Larry Vanoven, Frank Vanoven and Loretta Murphy.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim (Randy) Sills of Rosedale, Indiana and Melissa (John) Spudville of Muskegon, Michigan; two sisters, Lou Sawyer of Sebring, Florida and Mary Jane Solomon of Marshall; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Sharon was retired from Coil Sales of Marshall. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Marshall High School.
Services in honor of her life will be 2 p.m. Friday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Stacy Tomich officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Cemetery.
