When Vicki was 50 years old, she decided to go back to school and became a certified nursing assistant from which she retired. Prior to her illness she enjoyed being with her family for those big family dinners and you knew not to be there, or she would call and ask “Where are you?” She really enjoyed dancing having worked with Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Tidewater, VA. Vicki also like watching "Dancing with the Stars."
Born January 14, 1947 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Jackson (Deceased) and Dorothy M. Campbell-Jackson (Deceased). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Jackson (Deceased).
Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted daughter, Nicole Jennings-Tsipliareles & husband Demetrios Tsipliareles of Pipestem, Stephanie Maderazo, Joel Grigg & wife Lisa Grigg, and Brandon Grigg all of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Sandra Jackson-Martin of Dalton, GA; five grandchildren, Rueben, Giovanni, George, Brandon and Adrian all of Virginia Beach; three great-grandchildren, Ava, Aiden and Riley; and several nieces and nephews.
The family has honored Vicki’s request that she be donated to the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. The Jennings family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
