Mrs. Mildred Burgi, 57, of 516 E. Capitol Ave., died at 7:15 pm Tuesday, at Memorial Community Hospital, following an illness of five months. Mrs. Burgi was born in Jefferson City, March 27, 1908, the daughter of Chris and Minnie Veltrop Haverkort.
On July 5, 1926, in Jefferson City, she was married to William O. Burgi, who survives
Other survivors include: One son, William R. Burgi, Kansas City; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Ann Snodgrass, Little Rock, Ark.; her mother. Mrs. Minnie Haverkort Chadwick, Jefferson City; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Frances Davis and Mrs. Martha Pratt, both of Jefferson City, and Miss Alma Haverkort and Mrs. Jean Germano, both of San Francisco, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Burgi was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral, the Altar Society and Te Deum International.
