Jerry M. Bashford – age 73 of Gallatin, MO, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 12th, 2019 at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab. Jerry was born on September 24th, 1945 the son of Herschel and Mildred (Stevens) Bashford in Carlow, MO. He was a graduate of Gallatin High School. On July 26th, 1986, Jerry was united in marriage to Ruth Blades at the Hamilton Federated Church. He worked as a self-employed electrician for the majority of his life but also worked for the City of Gallatin as well as Industrial Diesel Services. Jerry had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed building them. He was a former member of the Freedom of the Road Riders motorcycle club. He also loved his dogs.

Mr. Bashford was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Connie Bashford. Survivors include: wife of the home, Ruth Bashford; God-Daughter, Sylvre Blades; several nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Memorials are suggested to Centenary Cemetery or Green Hills Animal Shelter in memory of Jerry M. Bashford. Graveside service to be held at Centenary Cemetery at a later date.
