William Dokie "Willie" Crouse, Jr., age 79 of Tazewell, VA passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Tazewell, VA. Born August 15, 1939 in the Tipple Hollow section of Bishop, VA he was a son of the late William Dokie Crouse, Sr and Lilly Alice Asbury Crouse. He worked in logging and farming before becoming disabled from an automobile accident in the 1960's. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hesler Crouse; sister, Ona Crouse and brothers, Wayne Crouse and Wade Crouse.
He is survived by his brother, Winford Crouse of Berwind, WV; sisters, Phyllis Eich of Abbs Valley, VA and Della Salyers of Springville, VA. Willie will be missed by all family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA where funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM with the Reverend Kenny Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
