Born in Pitts, he was the son of the late Samuel Lawrence Youngblood and Evelyn Calhoun Youngblood, graduated from Wilcox County High School, attended Georgia State College in Atlanta and served in the National Guard. He was a farmer, a real estate broker with Peachstate Realty, a certified general appraiser and owner of Jalapa Timber Company. He was the former owner of Youngblood Agency in Unadilla. He served on the board of directors of Middle Georgia EMC for 31 years. Ronnie was a member of Vienna First Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.
He is survived by his wife, his two children, one brother and sister in-law, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald T. Youngblood and Wayne M. Youngblood.
Funeral services were held at 11 AM Thursday, December 22 in Vienna First Baptist Church. A private interment for family was held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Cordele.
The family greeted friends one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall and may be contacted at 255 Jalapa Road, Byromville.
