Carolyn J. Reed, 71, of New London, passed away at 11:15 AM Monday, May 13, 2019 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, May, 17, 2019 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Brad Conley will officiate.

Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.

Friends and Family are invited to Carolyn's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.

Carolyn was born November 17, 1947, in Hannibal to Victor L. and Mary Irene Roland Conley.

She was married to Richard W. Reed, Sr. on June 4, 1966, Hannibal, MO. He survives.

Other survivors include 3 children, Donna Franklin (Graylon) of New London, MO, Richard W. Reed Jr. (Tracy) of Midland, TX and Raymond Reed (Tina) of New London, MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Richard Conley, and Gary Conley and one sister, Marilyn Toolate.

Professionally, Carolyn was a homemaker who later worked in a factory but recently operated an in home daycare for over 10 years.

Carolyn was the happiest when she spent time with her family, and often traveled to Branson, Nashville and Chicago with her family. She loved to have big family dinners where her homemade noodles and fudge were a family favorite. Carolyn was a Cardinal Baseball fan and especially loved Yadi. Carolyn also enjoyed fishing and was an avid bowler for many years.

Carolyn was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Pallbearers will be Josh Denaro, Randy Hendricks, Jeremy Denaro, Richard Reed, Brandon Reed, Blake Stevenson, Jared Reed and Brady Stevenson.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Toolate and Russell Toolate.

Memorial contributions can be made to the donors choice.
