Johann Georg "George" Laubach was born in Büdingen, Wetteraukreis, Darmstadt, Hessen, Germany.

He was the son of Johann Christian Laubach and Susanna Catharina Zimler, and was baptized on 16 Nov 1726 in Büdingen, Germany.

He married Anna Margaretha Jansen abt 1755 in Bucks Co., PA.

George and his wife, Anna Margaretha, were the parents of 12 children:

Susanna, Johann Michael, Adam, Johann Christian, Johann Conrad (died as an infant), Johann Conrad, Anna Margaret, Catharine, Johann Georg, Anna Maria, Walburg and Elisabeth.

George died in Williams Twp., Northampton Co., PA and was buried 19 Oct 1802.

Military Service: Revolutionary War Soldier - Private in 4th Battalion, 1st Company, Northampton County Militia.
