Billie Marie Cook of Overland Park, KS passed away Friday September 22, 2017.

Billie Marie was born November 5, 1928 in Mountain Park, OK the youngest of 9 children.

Billie married her true love Clyde A. Cook in 1952. They truly enjoyed a loving life together in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Kansas, raising a family and making lifelong friends wherever they lived.

Billie brightened every room she entered with her enthusiastic and optimistic approach to life and always with an infectious laugh that spread joy to so many. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church for 54 years and served the Lord as a longtime member of Asbury Woman Circle and other charity work.

Billie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, and seven siblings.

She is survived by her loving children; Lisa Cook of Overland Park, KS, Leslie and Lynn Cook and their children Madeline Marie and Dana Charles of Silver Spring, MD, Donna Cook of Ft Worth, TX, her bother Coy Watson and his wife Betty of Lawton, OK, and many nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Billie’s life, please join together on Wednesday September 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Asbury United Methodist Church, 5400 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, KS 66208.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Billie’s name to Asbury United Methodist Church.
