Clinton Edwin Richardson, age 80, of White Lily, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Clinton was born on February 6, 1937 in Somerset, to the late Fred and Myrtle Tomlinson Richardson. Clinton was a Deacon, Song Leader, and Sunday School Teacher at Malvin Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, farming, going to church, and watching the Kentucky Wildcats.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Bishop Richardson, whom he married on November 24, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, IN; a daughter, Rhonda Jones of Somerset; four brothers, Richard (and Jewell) Richardson, Donald (and Brenda) Richardson, Robert (and Rose) Richardson, and Wayne (and Jetta) Richardson, all of Somerset; two sisters, Loraine (and Bud) Stogsdill, and Vernis (and Kermit) Meece, all of Somerset; four grandchildren, Clinton Aaron (and Ashley) Jones, Charles Adam (and Lindsey) Mounce, Jeremy Tate (and Crystal) Jones, and Jesse Elijah Mounce, all of Somerset; a great-grandchild, Israel Tate Jones; and a son in-law, Charles Mounce of Somerset.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Mounce; a brother, Fred Richardson Jr; his father and mother in-law, Cecil and Pearl Bishop; a nephew, Wendell Richardson; and a niece, Lydia Stogsdill.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 25, 2017 after 6:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Donovan Smith and Bro. Elmo Mounce officiating. Burial will be at Malvin Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Aaron Jones, Adam Mounce, Tate Jones, Jesse Mounce, Charles Mounce, Tim Richardson, David Meece; and an Honorary Pallbearer, Israel Jones.
