Lisa Ann Byers, age 49, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at her home. She was born October 19, 1969 in Mechanicsburg and was raised by the late Paul and Frances Thomas. Lisa was always keeping busy with things around the house. While she assisted in running the family business in its early years, she was a dedicated stay-at-home mom who enjoyed volunteering her time to help out in school, with her girls' soccer activities, or running whatever other errands were necessary. In her free time, she enjoyed using her talents for cross-stitching, she loved to shop, and she loved taking care of her cats.

Surviving is her husband, Stewart W. Byers; her daughters, Makenna Ann of Okinawa, Japan, Alexa Madison of Mechanicsburg, and Taylor Frances of Dillsburg; her "Meechie," Michelle Koons; her sister, Dara Reader and husband Keith; her brothers, Dale Thomas and wife Dee and Ed Thomas and wife Ina; and her cousin, Erin St. Louis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 400 E. Simpson Street, Mechanicsburg where there will be a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Westminster Cemetery.
