Tackett, Ruby Jewell, 70, of Sun City Center, passed away on May 5, 2019. Ruby was a missionary for over 30 years. She also was an entrepreneur and business owner, and worked as a CNA with the elderly. She was an avid gardener, but what brought her the most joy was spending time with her grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Saylor and her brothers, Frank Ward and Charlie Ward. Ruby is survived by her loving family, children, Teresa Bailey-White, Vonda Wilshire, and Stephen Tackett; siblings, Brenda Wheeler, Ron Ward, Tom Rose, Barbara Trammell, Stevie Surgener, and Danny Surgener; grandchildren, Casey Moore, Jessica Bailey, Austin Hartzell, Kyle Tackett, Gabriel Wilshire, Hannah Wilshire, Elizabeth Tackett, and Andrew Tackett; and three great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park. Serenity FH
