Wanda Kostzuta 90 of Apache went to her heavenly home on May 9, 2019 with her loving family by her side.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 14 , 2019 at the Comanche Community Center in Apache with Tina Baker and Patrick McClung officiating. Burial is at Cache Creek KCA Cemetery west of Apache.
Wake service will be 7:00 P.M. Monday May 13, 2019 at the Comanche Community Center in Apache.
Wanda was born January 1, 1929 in Binger to Ben and Faye (Brown) Coffey. She was a member of the Caddo Tribe of Oklahoma and Cache Creek UMC. Wanda enjoyed sewing, making shawls, camping, bingo, cooking, traveling, going to powwows and spending time with her family. She also served on the Caddo Business Committee and was the Caddo Nation Princess Director. Wanda loved to support the Apache Athletic Teams.
Wanda is survived by: daughters: Marilyn Kostzuta and Kim Ortiz; special son, Cecil Gray; brother, Weldon Coffey; grandchildren: Cheryl Stillwell, Lynnie Horse, Marie Coronado, Charles Passah Jr., Amy Passah, Erick Ricker, Charlie Koassechony, Charlotte Passah, Sara Passah, Dani Koassechony, Gabe Ricker, Tiauna Ricker, Curtis Kostzuta, Connie Rice, Courtney Kostzuta, Skye Kostzuta, Dakota Kostzuta, Lacey Kostzuta and Marissa Kostzuta; great grandchildren: Terrance Lonewolf, Jennifer Passah, Josh Passah, Tara Passah, Andrew Billiot, Candace Lonewolf, Chaska Ricker, Jodeci Koassechony, Lauren Horse, Devan Poolaw, Lakota Ricker, Chelsea Koassechony, Mariah Koassechony, Mylah Ricker, Warrior Ricker, King Ricker, Sean Ortiz, Urian Ortiz, 12 great greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Wanda is preceded in death by: husband, Henry “Hank” Kostzuta; parents Ben and Faye Coffey; sons: George, Mitchell and Robert Kostzuta; daughters: Sandra Sue Kostzuta and Jackie Ricker.
