NORTH – Funeral service for Connie Lee Hoffman, 68, will be held on Monday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Swansee Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, Swansee. The Rev. Terry Wilder will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Swansee Baptist Church Mission Fund, 145 South Church Street, Swansea, SC 29160.
Mrs. Hoffman passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019. Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy Benjamin and Lola Lee Oliver. She enjoyed farming and going to the farmers market.
Surviving are her husband of 14 years, Shelton Lavern Hoffman, Jr.; children, Chris McKay (Amanda), Missy Padgett and Benji McKay (April); step-daughters, Shelby Kyzer and Leighann Yahn; step-son, Joey Boyer; brother, Levern “Pete” Oliver (Terry); sisters, Janie Louise Buie and Zella McGee (Frank); 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and her precious cat, “KiKi”.
