Otto Acton died at the age of 42 of a Cerebral Haemorrhage. He was married to Olive Blanche Brant. They fostered ten children: Emaline, Margret, Otto Jr., Imogene, Evelyn, Lois, twins Caroline and Mary, Wilfred, and an un-named boy who died within days of birth. Otto held several jobs during his life but prior to his death he worked in the shoe factory in Olney, IL. He died one month before the birth of his last child, Wilfred. His wife, Olive Blanche survived him 45 years, dying in 1980. in Wayne, MI. She is interred in Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Wayne County, MI.
