Nancy J. Barton, age 87, formerly of Strasburg, died on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Manor Care, Lancaster, PA. She was born in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie Herr Simmons and was the wife of the late John Barton, Jr.
Nancy worked for many years at the former Host Inn, Lancaster.
She is survived by three children: John S. Barton, III, Jeffrey Barton and Jerrold O. Barton. Also surviving is a brother, Glenn E. Simmons of Lancaster and nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ann Barton, a son, James R. Barton and a sister, Gloria S. Spiese.
Private burial will be in Riverview Burial Park.
