Richard H. Holtz, age 76, of Des Plaines, Illinois passed away on May 10, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Donna (nee Maas) for 44 years. Loving father of Trisha (Spero) Melidones, Sheri Mundorf (Cathleen Haney) Christopher (Christy) Holtz and Sarah ( Jason) Clukey. Proud grandfather of Shanah (Zach) Lackner, Quinn, Andrianna, Theodore, Caleb, Weston, William and Savanah. Dear brother of the late Thomas (Peggy) Holtz. Richard was a fire fighter for 25 years with North Maine Township, and 6 years with Palatine Rural/Inverness fire departments. He was an Air Force veteran, a member of the Des Plaines Elks and the Des Plaines Moose Lodge as well as a bowler, golfer and avid Cubs fan.
