Mrs. Slade of Marathon, N. Y., Suffers Heart Attack

RAWSONVILLE -- Mrs. Elizabeth May (Slade) Williams, 67, of Marathon, N. Y., died unexpectedly Friday while visiting her sister, Mrs. Lola Coleman. She was stricken with a heart attack the night before.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Born in Bondville Sept. 14, 1882, she was one of the eight children of George F. and Margaret (McClellan) Slade. She was married in 1905 to Pearl Williams of Bondville, killed in a lumber accident 13 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Williams lived here until moving to New York state 25 years ago.

She leaves three sons, Harry, Harold and Carl, all of Cortland, N. Y.; two brothers, Henry Slade of Manchester Depot and David Slade of Bondville; her sister, Mrs. Coleman, and five grandchildren. A son, Ora, died in infancy.
