Margaret E. Adkins, age 87, of Moundsville, WV died Thursday, May 9, 2019 in Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheeling, WV.
She was born November 2, 1931 in Moundsville, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Jane McHenry Miller.
She was a loving mother; a member of New Life Fellowship, Shadyside, OH and Cornerstone Church of God; she Pastored at New Testament Church, Powhatan and many local churches, where she was also a music leader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Paul, Charles, Stanley, Robert, Harold, and Clarence Miller; and two sisters, Alberta Miller McHenry, and Virginia Miller.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Richard) Elza of Moundsville, and Linda (Mike) Elswick of Wheeling; three grandchildren, Timothy Frazier, Crystal (Robert) Thorne, and Candace (Brad) Calvert, all of St. Clairsville, OH; five great-grandchildren, Ronevan, Noah, and Autumn Calvert, and Christina and Leia Thorne; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 8pm and Tuesday from 12noon until time of Funeral Service at 1:30pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville with Pastor Ron Wilfong and Pastor Joel Traylor officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Moundsville.
