He worked doing floor covering, upholstry, landscaping, truck driving, screen printing, and finally building houses (several for his own family).
He loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, golf, and coaching his daughter's softball team, as well as racing on the dirt track at Dixie Speed Track in Woodstock, GA.
Dennis was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church, Colquitt, GA. He loved his Lord and enjoyed airing his program, Gospel South, on the Donalsonville, GA radio station, and his monthly gospel concerts featuring local groups.
He is survived by:
his wife of 52 years
two daughters and a son-in-law
seven grandchildren
three great-grandchildren
two great-grandchildren on the way
a large extended family including in-laws, nephews, and nieces
his loving pet, Annie.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Paul and Myrtle Hanie Brock. ; a brother, Lewis Brock; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Jewel Holcombe; son-in-law, Mitch Crowder; one niece; and two nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Brock were held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Webb officiating.
