Mr. Richard William Chambers, 70, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Riverview Health & Rehab. Mr. Chambers was born on December 2, 1948 in Sullivan, MO to William and Dorothy Miller Chambers. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and later became a truck driver serving several different companies for over 20 years. Mr. Chambers was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing and watching old western movies.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Chambers, Jr. and William Richard Chambers and brothers, Edward Chambers and his wife Amy.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery-Glennville at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mitch C. Lynn officiating.
