Lorien E. Grapentine, 67, of 1310 South 11th Street, Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning, Nov. 10, at Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Grapentine was born July 25, 1916, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Karl and Elizabeth Boeckmann Kluczinske. She married Fred Grapentine July 6, 1935, at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Fred; a brother, Max Kluczinske of Green Bay; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret and Edwin Rydzewski of Manitowoc; and Isabelle and Elroy Matt of Manitowoc; a half sister, Wanda Boeckmann of Manitowoc; a brother-in-law, Walter W. Grapentine of Manitowoc; and two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Earl Schwerzler of Oregon, and Mrs. Ida Kaukman (sic) of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Larry, and three brothers, Walter, Reuben, and Roland.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 to 9 p.m. Friday evening, Saturday until 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
