Loretta Walker, 85, of Hillsboro passed away May 9, 2019. She was born October 12, 1933 in Hillsboro to R.L. and Mattie Mae (Keeton) Robertson.
She grew up in Hillsboro and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Clyde “Pete” Walker on July 19, 1952 in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on March 12, 2001.
Loretta worked for Texas Power and Light as a head cashier working for them for 30 years before her retirement. She enjoyed dancing going to the Casino, horse races, enjoyed doing needle point and enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises. Loretta was also very active in the Hillsboro Ex Students Association.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Terry Spigner; two brothers, Robert “Bubba” Robertson and Ronnie Lynn Robertson.
Survivors included her children, Sharon Garrison and Clyde Walker; sister, Faye Tekell; 10 grand children, 12 great grand children, several nieces, nephews and many other extended relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be May 14, 2019. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro.
