Helen Carol (Knott) Adkins, 79, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at her home. Helen was born on November 28, 1939 in Owensboro, KY. to the late Henry Frank & Mary Pauline Knott.
She had worked for the old A & P Grocery Store and a volunteer at Sts Mary & Elizabeth Hospital for 13 years.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Adkins & her son, Daniel Craig Adkins.
Survivors include her two children, Detra Lyons (Jerry) & Sabrina Sanders (Damon); a sister, Gwen Knott; three grandchildren, Amber (Greg), Mariah & Hayley; two great grandchildren, Madison & Mason Deitz.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Friday. Burial Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
