She was born June 9, 1933, in Rardin, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ted G. and Daisy R. (Bittner) Ratts. She married Joseph Hardman on July 27, 1958, in Clinton, Indiana. He preceded her in death in June 1980. She married Roy Price on January 24, 1981, in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death in December 2005.
Survivors include three daughters, Deanna L. (James) Curry of Danville, Illinois, Thelma L. Ball of Greenup, Illinois, and Jackie E. (Kevin) Gosnell Sr. of Paris, Illinois; a sister, Marie Scherr of Terre Haute, Indiana; as well as six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Price was a member of the Paris Southern Baptist Church and a secondary member of Kansas United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing and side by side riding. She loved her family and above all else, she loved her lord.
