Mr. and Mrs. William Honnor of Roca, celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary March 17, 1942. Mrs. Honnor was born November 22, 1862, in Oldenburg, Germany, and Mr. Honnor on March 29, 1853, in Kent, England. Following their marriage in Illinois, the couple resided there until coming to Nebraska in 1896. They have resided in Otoe and Lancaster counties.

They had six children: George, Filley; Mrs. Anna Easton, San Diego, Calif.; Herman and Mrs. Esther Dougherty, Roca; Mrs. Mary Gray and Mrs. Adelie Martin, Lincoln. Mrs. James A. Williams, Kansas City, Mo., is Mr. Honnor's daughter by a former marriage. There are 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
