Laura Lanelle (Rogers) Russell went to be with her Jesus, Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in Clarksville, Arkansas.
She was 90 years young, born July 30, 1928, in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, a member of the Crossroads Church, under her pastor Bro. Jonia Smith, whom she loved. She was a song leader at her church for 40 plus years, she loved to cook and quilt. Everyone called her ''Nell'' and she spent her whole life serving God and loving her family and friends. She attended Goosecamp and Fernwood Assembly of God, she was saved there many years ago and called it her ''home church''.

Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Bill Russell; her parents, Frank Freeman Rogers and Helen (Guthrie) Rogers; brothers, Buddy Rogers and George Rogers.

Nell is survived by her son, Keith Russell and wife, Mona, of Hartman; brother, Charles Rogers of Tulsa, OK; sister-in-law, Phyllis Rogers, of Clarksville; two grandchildren, Brian Russell and fiancée, Amy Martin, of Hartman and Shelly Brasel and husband, Paul, of Coal Hill; three great grandchildren, Lauryn Brasel, Chelsea Brasel and Holden Brasel and wife, Alexis; two great great grandchildren, April Leding and Joshua Brasel; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She attended Goosecamp/Fernwood A/G when she was saved. For many years she called it her "home church", but she is really home now!

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019, at Fernwood Assembly of God Church, with Bro. David Willis and Bro. Jonia Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hartman Cemetery, Hartman, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Rogers, Jerry Cowell, Larry Caldwell, Billy Caldwell, Al Shipman and Wesley Turner.
Milburn ''Sonny'' Rogers will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home
