BARBER, Edward (Ted) - In Kitchener on Tuesday February 21, 1995 following a lingering illness, age 79 years. Ted Barber, a retired employee of Labatt's Breweries Limited, son of the late William Barber and of the former Ellen Godfrey. Beloved husband of 54 years of Bernetta Barber (nee Dankwardt). Loving father of Judy Leybourne and her husband Clifford of Bornholm. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Gary, Lori, Lisa and Diane and his three great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Arthur, Albert and his wife Margaret, Ernie, and Emile Reddaway, all of Cambridge. Predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel 51 Benton at Church Streets, Kitchener after 2: 00 pm, Friday February 24, 1995 where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Complete Funeral Services will be held from the funeral Home Chapel on Saturday February 25, 1995 at 2: 00 pm. Rev. Raymond Reitzel, CR officiating. Interment will follow later in Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the St. Aloysius RC Church, 11 Traynor Avenue, Kitchener N2C 1W1 would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Following the service a reception will be held in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.
