Roberta was born November 27, 1939 in Franklin, NH a daughter of Frank and Emma ( Bronkelbank) Crewe. She attended the Lebanon Schools and after school she went to work for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in housekeeping. She was a hard and dedicated worker retiring after more than 30 years of service in 2005 to care for her husband Stanley Malcher.
Roberta enjoyed a solitary life, she loved reading but most of all caring for her family.
She is predeceased by her husband; two sons Edwin Ray and Steven Malcher; a step daughter Valerie Porter; and three sisters, Myrna Crewe, Maureen Calkins, and Florence Malcher. Roberta is survived by three children, Kevin Ray of Rogers, AR, Brenda Sanborn of Guilford, VT and Lynda Shand of Grand Isle, VT; three step children, Vicki Longley, of Canaan, NH, Eric Malcher of Cleves, OH and Stanley Malcher Jr of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters Ruth Cobb of Keene, NH and Shirley Cobb of Clearwater, FL and numerous grandchildren and great grand children.
