Milton Lee Davis, 78, passed away on May 4, 2019. Burial will be at Garland Memorial Park.

Milton was born on August 28, 1940, in Oak Grove, LA, to the late Vernon D. Davis and Beulah S. Price Davis. On December 23, 1960, he married Martha Adams. In 1965, the couple moved to Dallas with his job as an accountant for Commercial Metals Company. He retired from CMC as an assistant controller after 44 years of service.

He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church for 52 years and served as a deacon, church treasurer, on the Benevolence Committee, on the Missionary Committee, and president of their Sunday School class. However, his greatest love was to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Milton loved to travel and shared his love of travel with many family members. He loved his family and was very proud of their accomplishments. He loved westerns, especially the old-time ones, along with western books. He loved watching the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Ogden; and brothers, Bernis Davis and Doy Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Martha; daughters, Sherri Smith and her husband, Ray, and Lynda Denise Flatt and her husband, Robert; son, Greg Davis and his wife, Denise; grandchildren; Melodi Bedell and her husband, Cody, Anna Dalton and her husband, Justin, Matthew and Drew Nelson, Shannon and Seth Davis, Garrett and Michele Flatt, and Connor Flatt; great-granddaughter, Alli Bedell; great-grandson, Noah Flatt; and numerous nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
