Kelly Louise Martin Peterson was born May 11, 1960 to Claude and Dixie Martin. Kelly passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 8,2019.
Kelly is survived by her children Beau Michael and Brian Michael Peterson (Kristen) of Des Moines. She was blessed with three younger sisters and a younger brother. Pamela Parlee of Altoona, Debbie Mosali (Bob Higgins) of Bondurant and Tracy Salyers (Thomas Switzer) of Marshalltown and Carl Miskimins (Lynell) of Kansas. She is also survived by her sister in law Judy Turck of West Des Moines. Kelly had many nieces and nephews that she loved spending time with. Kelly also has many cousins; her best friend and cousin was Vicky Seals of Des Moines.
Kelly has joined her husband Michael (who passed away in 1983) and her parents in heaven.
Kelly will be laid to rest Saturday May 11 (which would have been her 59th birthday) next to her husband whom she missed every single day. Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery at Merle Hay Funeral Home in Des Moines, Iowa at 10:00 am.
