He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on Nov. 17, 1935, a son of the late Harold and Lucille Zell Tevis. He also was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Tevis; brothers, Alton and Ron Tevis; and son-in law Benjamin Parker.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Virginia; daughters, Linda Parker and Donna (Steven) Fish; son, Harold (Debbie) Tevis; brother, Earl (Margie) Tevis; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam, Mr. Tevis retired from AcuSport and Steve Austin Chevrolet.
