Daughter of John and Daisy McGregor. Carolyn Regina McGregor, five-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. McGregor, passed away yesterday afternoon at 2:45 at the family home near Meco following a short illness brought on by inflammatory rheumatism. She was born in this city, August 11, 1929, the daughter of John W. and Daisy Phillips McGregor. a short time ago the family removed to Meco where the child attended school and was active in the church and Sunday school. Surviving are her parents, four brothers, Lucius, Ernest and Willard at home, Harold of Gloversville, three sisters, Betty and Audrey and Mrs. Thurman (Alyce) Jackson, and a number of distant relatives. Funeral arrangements had not been completed last evening.
The funeral of Carolyn Regina McGregor, 5 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. McGregor of Meco, former residents, was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the Buchanan Funeral Home with Rev. Edward L. Swartout Jr. of the Reformed Church, officiating. Floral pieces were received from the Traffic and Operating Departments of the Upstate Telephone Corp., teacher and pupils of the Meco School and Mr. Gifford, also others from relatives, friends and neighbors.
The bearers were Howard Place, Douglas Gifford, Keith Blew and Harold Whitehouse. The remains were placed in the vault of Prospect Hill Cemetery. She was predeceased by her sister, Thelma Daisy McGregor and her brother, John Willard McGregor Jr.
