Jimmy R. Welch, age 66, passed away with family by his side on February 2, 2020 at Methodist University Hospital after a courageous fight with lung cancer.
He was born on October 2, 1953, the son of Henry Welch and Beatrice Carroll Welch. He married Jere Jerome Welch on July 31, 1993.
Jimmy is survived by one daughter, Amy Hall and her husband, James of Lake Cormorant, MS; one step-daughter, Carmen Carr and her husband, Jason of Memphis, TN; one step-son, Brandon Webb and his wife, Stephanie of Viera, FL; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beautiful & loving wife, Jere, who passed away on December 11, 2016; two brothers and two sisters.
To honor Jimmy's memory, the family request a donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where he was employed for 9 years.
