ALBERT NERO SR. is the son of Osborne Nero and Mrs. Dora (Wheat) Nero Bowman.

Obituary | "Funeral services for Albert Nero Sr., of Route 7, Marshall, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Potters Creek Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Gomiller officiating. Burial will be in Potters Creek Cemetery under the direction of Hayward Funeral Home. Mr. Nero died Saturday, June 9, 1984, at his home. He was born in Harrison County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Osborne Nero. He was a farmer and a landscape employee. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Nero; a son, Richard Houston, of Los Angeles, California; a daughter, Ruth Sparks, of Los Angeles, California; four sisters, Hattie Davis, Thelma Clark and Essie B. Hayes, all of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Lee Ella Clark, of Dallas; an aunt; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A family hour will be held at the funeral home from 7-8 p.m. today."
