Crawfordsville resident.
Passed away Wednesday at St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette following a stroke.

Son of Kenneth and Maggie Englehart Wilson.
Married Barbara Brown June 15, 1957 in Dover OH. She survives.
Also surviving are daughter Heidi Hon; son Johnny (Shelly) Wilson; grandchildren Steven Wilson, Kerston Conway and Lukas Benge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

1953 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
Attended IU.

He was a Crawfordsville police officer from 1960 to 1980, then worked at the State Highway Dept. from 1980-2005.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Eagles and F.O.P., served as a precinct committeeman, and was on the West Central Indiana waste board.

He was a model train enthusiast, loved to play cards, golf and had a great love for the Crawfordsville community.

Cremation was chosen.
Service 11am Saturday, May 11 at Burkhart Funeral Home led by Pastor Wallie Nichols.
Visitation 5-8pm Friday.
