She grew up in in Hazelton, PA. Laura graduated from Blue Mountain Academy in Hamburg, PA.
On a visit to see her sister in Maryland, Laura took a trip to Washington, D.C. She met Albert Marsh while he was enlisted in the US Army. They quickly swept each other off their feet. After courting by mail, Laura moved to the west coast to marry her one true love.
She attended Community College in Seattle, WA earning her nursing degree. Laura worked in the ICU at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, CA.
Following their daughter who had already moved to Phoenix, Laura and Albert moved to El Mirage, AZ to enjoy the rest of their retirement.
Laura is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Albert D Marsh; children, daughter, Linda M Marsh and her husband, Mike Blum, son, Albert P Marsh, her twin sister, Linda G. Oakes, brother, Joseph Daches and grandson, William Blum.
Laura loved to dance, listen to music and sword fight with her grandson, William. She loved her family with all of her being. Laura will be missed greatly by all that knew her.
