White, Genevieve Lucianne 89, of Waukegan, died Monday August 8, 2011.
She was born Genevieve Lucianne Busse on January 29, 1922 in South Bend, Indiana. In 1943, she married Walter J. White, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by their four children, six grand-children, and five great-grand-children. Genevieve was very active in politics during the 1950's and was a Girl Scouts leader.
She had a great appreciation for the Arts, in particular the Lyric Opera of Chicago, which she supported and attended from 1971 until 2007.
Genevieve had cultivated tastes in arts and literature as well as being a dedicated wife and mother who loved to cook and entertain. Genevieve was always a cheerful person with a sense of deep kindness and generosity; she was deeply loved by friends and family and will be dearly missed. There will be a privately held service for friends and family.
