Jackie Campbell, a longtime time Drumright resident, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Linwood Nursing Home at the age of 99. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing. Interment will follow at Carney Cemetery, Carney, Ok.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.

Jackie was born on September 17, 1919 in Carney, Oklahoma to the late Francis M. and Susan Elizabeth (Allred) Sadler. She grew up in Carney and Drumright. As a young woman she worked for Safeway in Cushing for a couple of years. Jackie married the love of her life Glenn Campbell on April 27, 1946 in Lions, Ks. While living in Kansas, she became a member of Eastern Star in 1948 and received her 50-year pin in 1998. They lived in Lions and then Texas, Missouri and in 1968 moved back to Drumright. Jackie worked for Joy’s Fashion in Drumright for sixteen years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Cushing. As a couple they enjoyed bowling in mixed leagues as well as playing bridge with friends. Jackie was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family, especially family reunions. She loved her nieces and nephews as her children and their children as her grandchildren.

Jackie is survived by her brother B.F. Sadler of Owasso, and sister-in-law Myrna Sadler of McCleansboro, Ill. Her nieces and nephews Sue and Neil Cline and Ron and Char Sadler of Cushing. June and Bob Fritts of Drumright, Alberta Bonebrake of Collinsville, Larry and Linda Sadler of Centennial, Co., Roger and Barbara Sadler of Little Rock, Ar., David and Allison Sadler of Duquoin, Ill., DeLois and Bill Middleton of Jenks, Judy and Mike Austin of Fairland, Lesa and Jeff Goodwin of Memphis, TN. and numerous great nieces and nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Glenn Campbell, siblings Jess Sadler, Vernon Sadler, Cleo Sadler, Leo Sadler, Iona Dyer, Flossie Uptegraft, Teddy Grace, Violet Sullivan and VaDonna Sadler, niece Peggy Cockrell and nephew Don Grace.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Jackie’s Caregivers at Linwood Village Nursing Home as well as Shirley Teagarden, Judy Smith, Sherry Kile, Brenda Stone and Britny Tanner.
