Graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Bro. Michael Murphy officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 12 – 1 PM at Taylor Funeral Home, 511 Ross Graves Dr., Timpson, Texas.
Tommie moved to Timpson as a small child. She graduated Timpson High School, Class of 1950. Later in life Tommie married Claude Methvin, and the two spent several years together before his passing. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, playing bingo, and sitting around talking about her previous job with Tyson. She loved reminiscing the good times she had while employed with Tyson. Tommie was a very personable person, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed her position greeting folks at Walmart for many years. The greatest joy was watching her great grandchildren play.
