He was a lifetime member of Centenary United Methodist Church and involved in the Good Neighbors Club. John was a 1949 graduate of Reitz High School and an avid sports fan, especially when it came to the Evansville Otters, Indianapolis Colts, and the Reitz Panthers. He was raised on a small family farm where he continued to work until his retirement.
John is survived by his brother, Robert (Lee) Crow of Evansville; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.P.H. and Minnie (Brandenstein) Crow;
sisters, Dorothy and Mildred.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., Friday, May 10, 2019 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 14340 Old State Rd., Evansville, IN 47725. Pastor Danny Walker will officiate and burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery.
