Henry Stoffel, one of Sandusky's oldest and most respected German citizens, died at his home, 417 Market Street last evening. He had lived here for over a century. His trade was that of a blacksmith, and his place of business was known to the older residents. He was born in Germany in 1817 and was 82 years old.
A widow and four children survive him. The funeral will be held from his late residence on Friday afternoon.
