Elizabeth Murphy age 93, passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019. She was born on May 22, 1925. Visitation will be Friday May 10, 2019 from 1:00-1:50 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She attended South Highland Free Will Baptist Church.
Ms. Murphy was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Sarah Pounders, and grandson Chad Edward Elkins.
Ms. Murphy was survived by her sons, Allen Elkins and wife Kay, Michael Elkins and wife Denise;
grandchildren, Todd Elkins and wife Michelle; Brandon Elkins and wife Terri; Tyler Elkins and wife Amy; and Brittany Elkins; ten great-grandchildren and two great great-grandsons.
Todd Elkins, Brandon Elkins, Tyler Elkins, Ray Honey, Mark Sanderson, and Paul Sanderson served as pallbearers.
