Tommy attended Anderson High School and went on to learn the trade of HV/AC taught to him by his dad. Tommy had a big heart and was always there for his family and friends even if it meant giving them his last. He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and children of his friends. Tommy was one who would take the kids to the park, fix their bikes, or even babysit. Growing up he enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing tricks on his bike or even building a new bike. He also enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and football. Tommy was a self-taught mechanic because if something needed fixed, he would figure out how to do it. He didn’t mind getting his hands dirty.
Tommy leaves to cherish his parents; John (Karina) Ogle and Sandra (Michael) Stapleton; his sisters, Kristi (Kirk) Horton, and Kassi (Tim) Davenport; his brothers, Michael Stapleton, and Martin (Gretchen) Stapleton; his nieces, Tanyia (Fred) Redfield, Kyra Horton, Ali VanMatre, Ke’Ley VanMatre, and Karizma Horton; his nephews, SeV’ion Youngblood, Joey Dewitt, Nick Purdy, and Zaiden Stapleton; his great-niece, Kadence Hall; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
