She attended Grand Haven High School and had worked for a time as a Car Hop waitress on roller skates. She married Floyd Henry in January of 1955 and he preceded her in death in 1996. Rose enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, gardening, and playing bingo with her friends.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Tina Henry of Eaton Rapids; and her brother, Chuck (Phyllis) Benes of Grand Haven; sisters-in-law, Nancy Benes, and Betty Rezny; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, James Henry and Floyd Henry; and siblings, Anna Widing, Marie Goresh, and John, Bob, and George Benes.
The Funeral service for Rose will be at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Steele of Watermark Church officiating. Interment will be at Mona View Cemetery.
