Okeechobee – John Wayne Huff, Sr. died February 1, 2019. He was born May 7, 1947 on Brighton Reservation. Mr. Huff proudly served our country in the United States Army. He worked as a utilities supervisor.
Mr. Huff was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Osceola Huff; father, Frank Huff Sr.; son, Sam Eric Huff; brothers, Stanley Huff, Roy Huff, and Frank Huff Jr.; sisters, Agnes Huff Jumper and Josephine Huff Villa.
He is survived by his wife, Vickey Lynn Baxley Huff; son, John Wayne Huff Jr. (Elizabeth); daughters, Rebecca Billie (Owen), Jimi Lu Jamison (James), and Mary Edith Huff (Brandon); fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at Ortona Cemetery.
