Joy Nell Campbell the daughter of James Arlie and Minnie Alvie (Cox) Reed was born July 11, 1931, in Clyde, Arkansas and departed this life on April 27, 2019, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 87 years, 9 months and 16 days.

Joy loved life and enjoyed having a good time. She was the life of the party wherever she was. She always had a smile on her face and a positive thought in her heart. She loved to entertain, and she had an overwhelming sense of humor. She had a very proud presence about her, with her shoulders back and head high no matter the situation. She always took pride in her appearance and was a very elegant lady. Joy lived and loved with a passion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Melvin E. Campbell; one grandson, and an infant brother.

She is survived by her 2 sons; one sister; one brother, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
